Ricky's Surgery: A Path to Recovery

My name is Rita Brinegar. I am creating a GoFundMe for my son-in-law, Ricky Brown. Ricky was involved in an accident that has left his hand broken in multiple places. Two of his knuckles are displaced in his hand. All of this requires surgery. The orthopedic team refuses to do the surgery without paying $2,400 upfront. His insurance only covers 50% of the cost. They are not willing to set up a payment plan. Ricky does construction, so he is out of work and needs to have the surgery ASAP to help support his wife and two children.
