My name is Ricky Sallay Zoker and I’m an artist, musician, performer, and educator from Houston, Texas. After recently graduating with my MFA from Bard College, I am entering an exciting new phase in my career: expanding my visual arts and writing practices, and finishing the creation of my forthcoming album.

My current residency at Pioneer Works will allow me to expand on this work and return to the studio where I created my last album, Wahala. I am excited to return to and complete the collection of songs I’ve been working on throughout the pandemic, have space to welcome New York City collaborators, and return to the city with the intention to record, release, and play shows once more!
Pioneer Works provides a studio, but unfortunately does not provide housing or a strong stipend, which is why I am turning towards my community to help me bring forth this new work.

Your support will go towards housing, taking care of my collaborators, documentation efforts (photo + film sessions which will filter into Patreon content), media/shoots for press photos, basic survival (food + transportation).
