Hi friends, so those of you that know me know that this isn’t something I normally do.

I believe in working hard for what you want/have but I’m also a believer in helping others and aware that there comes a time in everyone’s life that help is necessary and we all can swallow our pride sometimes, especially those who are truly in need and are trying.

We all know that life can get really tough sometimes.. which isn’t always in our control, and unfortunately that time is now for my brother Ricky and his family.

So First off, I want to ask for much needed extended prayers and positive thoughts for him and his family as he’s been in and out of the hospital since Halloween (but been dealing with health issues for years) currently waiting to have surgery for some intestinal issues that has caused an array of other health problems, they keep giving him the run around and there’s still a lot of unanswered questions and uncertainty that’s is keeping him from being able to work and provide for his family. He’s been sent home and moved around a few times due to the lack of good insurance and now he’s in the hospital again with other health problems that is worsening because he’s waited too long to get the initial help he needed in the first place.

It’s been a vicious cycle since the beginning as he’s continued to push himself despite his pain and discomfort he’s be in only leading to more distress, discomfort and now severe illness with no solid answers or solutions.

He’s been the sole provider of his family all while starting a new job just over a year ago so his fiancé can stay at home to care for the kids.

Between the two of them they are a family of six trying to make ends meet in a two bedroom apartment, while he also has other kids outside of his home that he is trying to help with. So as you can imagine before all this, it had already been challenging for them to say the least..

But with Gods grace and their perseverance together they have always managed to get by. Now unfortunately with the holidays just around the corner and bills stacking up and just the uncertainty of not knowing how long he will be in the hospital and out of work it’s causing an excessive amount of hardship and stress on them overall, which isn’t helping his physical and mental health on top of everything else.

So as his sister and the Godmother of two of his kids and the Tia to the others and just my love for my family, I’m trying to help anyway I know I can.

I just know they are going through so much and see they are doing what they can which makes it very difficult for me to watch. If I could I would provide for them completely but obviously this is way beyond what I can do, which is why I’m reaching out to all of you.

Despite how hard it is to do so.

In general I hate to ask for help. But Ironically I’m always the first to give to anyone I see or know going through difficulties so this has been especially emotional for me since this is my family. And as open as I feel am about a lot of things, I am also a pretty private person in my personal life, so this hasn’t been easy for me as I know it’s not easy for a lot of people including my brother to reach out in this way.

But nows the time to swallow the pride and gotten permission from my brother to share all this in the hopes he can help his family anyway he can as well.

I also don’t normally ask for prayers often, since I believe God hears mine and always provides, but I also know how powerful prayer is and how it’s best to join together.

So if you’re a believer, please pray away! Everything truly helps

Also, my brother is always the first to give and ask for prayers for those in needs and always puts others before himself. So I just feel he deserve the same in return now, which is why I wanted to start this go fund me for him.
