Ricky Gómez Medical-Personal Expenses Fund

We have created this GOFUNDME for my brother Ricky Gómez.

Last Friday (9/11/20) he and my mom were driving on W US 12 and got in a car accident. A drunk driver ran the stop sign on Shimmel Rd and collided the right side of his car, it was so bad that both my brother and mom were immediately transferred to Bronson Hospital. My mom ended up with a broken rib and a few open cuts from the glass and is recovering at home. My brother Ricky on the other hand, had to have three surgeries on Saturday as he ended up with three right femur fractures, a right femoral head fracture and a left ankle fracture.

He has a long ways to recover, unfortunately will not be able to work, will need physical therapy and go to numerous doctors’ appointments for follow up. 
Any donation is very much appreciated as these funds will help him and his family with medical and personal expenses throughout these difficult times.

Hemos creado este GOFUNDME para mi hermano Ricky Gómez.

El viernes pasado (11/9/20) él y mi mamá conducían por W US 12 y tuvieron un accidente automovilístico. Un conductor ebrio no respetó  la señal de alto en la Calle Shimmel y chocó contra el lado derecho de su auto, fue tan malo que tanto mi hermano como mi mamá fueron trasladados de inmediato al Hospital Bronson. Mi mamá terminó con una costilla rota y algunos cortes abiertos por los vidrios y se está recuperando en casa. Mi hermano Ricky, por otro lado, tuvo que someterse a tres cirugías el sábado, porque tiene  tres fracturas en el fémur derecho y el tobillo izquierdo fracturado. Tiene un largo camino por recorrer y lamentablemente no podrá trabajar durante varias semanas (meses), necesitará fisioterapia y acudirá a numerosas citas médicas para darle seguimiento a su recuperación.

Se agradece cualquier donación ya que estos fondos lo ayudarán a él y a su familia con los gastos médicos y personales durante estos tiempos difíciles.
