Ricky Bobby's ACL Surgery
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Jack and the good-looking guy in the picture is my dog and buddy Ricky Bobby. Ricky is 3 years old, full of life, and very active, loving nothing more than a trip to the dog park with a treat after. Recently, I noticed a slight limp developing in Rick's rear left leg, and I quickly took him to the vet for X-rays. I received the news on December 23rd, just two days before Christmas, and the results confirmed what I feared: Ricky Bobby has a torn ACL and it needs surgery to repair.
I am a recent graduate from USF, and I come nowhere near being able to afford a surgery like this while being weighed down by student loans and trying to find steady, well-paying work. Rick is my best friend and I give everything I have to take care of him and make him feel loved, and it hurts me to see him in this much pain. I am hoping to get this surgery done as soon as possible.
Any money donated will go directly to Ricky's medical bills and any medicines that he might need for the surgery and for his recovery back to full strength. From quotes I have received from local animal hospitals, the operation could cost anywhere between $3,000-$6,500, and I will update this post as much as I can with how much all of this will cost. Anything helps and I hope that soon Ricky Bobby will be back sprinting through fields and playing fetch. Thank you!
