We, Sandra Mustafa and Larissa Fuhrmann, two German women who lived and worked in Sudan for many years before the war, want to support two of our former colleagues to purchase two rickshaws. They fled several times within Sudan with their families and have now returned to their looted and partially destroyed homes in Omdurman.

Mohammed (39), father of four children aged between two weeks and eight years, who has also taken in his deceased sister's four orphaned children aged between nine and 15, and Abdelgaleel (47), father of three daughters.

Both have been searching for work in vain and are barely able to provide for their families. This month, they were unable to pay the school fees for their children. The past years have been extremely difficult for them and they want nothing else but financial independence and rebuild their lives.

Please support these two men and their families with providing them a livelihood in the form of two rickshaws (tuk-tuks). Our research has shown that Abdelgalleel and Mohamed need €5,000 (2500€ each) to purchase two used rickshaws in Omdurman where they will start using them as taxis and serve their community.
