On the night of April 30th at around 9:30 PM, my brother in law, Rick Roland, was in a serious motorcycle accident. He was on Interstate 376 on his way home when he was struck twice by a vehicle.

While Rick is conscious and fighting, his condition serious.

Rick’s accident doesn’t just impact him it has torn through his entire family. My sister, his wife, is currently unable to work due to a serious shoulder injury and has already undergone multiple surgeries herself in 2024 and in 2025. Rick was their family’s sole provider supporting not only her but also their child.

Rick and Emily are is the kind of people who would give the shirt off their back to help someone else. They have spent their entire life showing up for the people around them and their family, friends, coworkers, neighbors and now it’s time for us to show up for them.
