My name is Nathan, reaching out on behalf of Rick Newman. For those unfamiliar, Rick was recently diagnosed with stage 3 peritoneal cancer. He had a tumor removed later last year and went through chemo as a precautionary measure. Fast forward a few months, and here we are.

He and my mom are currently living in a village in rural Greece; it is almost an hour drive to the hospital in Thessaloniki where he has been receiving care. On top of that, neither of them have been working while dealing with all of this, and it will be awhile before my mom or Rick are able to receive a pension.

Rick has put his well-being on the line for my mom and I. He's done a lot for me personally. While we do what we can to help him ourselves, we're turning to friends and family and whoever else is willing to help him through this.
