Rick's Cancer Support Fund

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am reaching out to you all as someone who worked and knew Rick Barr well over the years - some of you are probably aware that he isn't doing well anymore and has experienced some setbacks in his fight with cancer. I am very sad to say that his situation is terminal, and so it is with a great deal of sadness that I am sending this message along. You are also likely aware that he has a teenage daughter and his wife, Kippy (who many of you also know well) that are dealing with this difficult time. I know, like me, many of you would like to show some support in any way possible and so that is why, with the help of some others, we have set up a GoFundMe page on behalf of Rick and his family. During this time it is difficult to know how to support them, and so one small measure we thought might help is to provide a small bit of financial support to assist them during this trying time.
