Lift the Bengco Family Up
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear friend Rick Bengco passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, at the age of 48. He was an amazing husband, dad, brother, and friend, and he’ll be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. We’re so grateful for all the love and support from family, friends and the community. We will keep this GoFundMe open to help cover the costs of his funeral arrangements.
Hello friends and family,
As many of you know, our dear brother and friend is facing a tough battle against cancer. Rick remains strong and resilient throughout his fight. Although a difficult situation, his optimism is infectious and keeps the belief high, but it’s a long road for Rick, Suzie, Cameron, and Greyson.
Rick has undergone multiple treatments, e.g., chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries, and the financial impact has added an extra layer of difficulty. In order to provide Rick the appropriate treatments and services, it will require additional expenses, unfortunately, not covered by his insurance.
To know Rick is to know his heart and selfless acts - always paying it forward and never expecting anything in return. Rick is in need right now. We’re asking his community of friends and family to lift our brother up. We have set up this GoFundMe page for the Bengco family- Rick, Suzie, Cameron and Greyson, to help ease the financial strain and allow them to focus on recovery and well-being. Funds will go directly to the family to be used towards medical bills, medical services, treatments, or anything else needed. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. We're so grateful for your kindness and generosity.
With love,
Jackie Ortega on behalf of the Bengco and Mata family.
