After over 48 years of educating countless students and bringing music into their lives, Rick Reaves is retiring!
My name is TJ Miles and I’ve had the fortune of both working with Rick and having him as a band director. My wife and I are honored to help host this event for Rick, but we need your help!
Please consider contributing to the Rick Reaves Retirement Party fund! Anything you can donate will help, as this event will cost over $1000 to put on. Donations will cover the party expenses and, if possible, a retirement gift. Any remaining proceeds will be donated to the LVHS Band Program. Thank you for your generosity!

- We’re making a video of well-wishes and memories for Rick. Please send any photos you have of or with Rick and video of yourself wishing him well and sharing your favorite memories of him! Please submit all photos and/or videos by May 14.
Finally, please send this info to other Alumni or people that know Mr. Reaves! We’re counting on you to spread the word and send Rick off into retirement in style and let him know the impact of his many years of service!
Rick knows that there is an event in his honor but doesn’t know anything else about it, so for now, please try to keep it secret!
