Rick Nelson's Memorial Fund

Last week, we lost part of our family. Rick Nelson—the ever dependable, ever patient, ever supportive and oh so wickedly funny guy—and his husband Thomas Bates died together in a car accident on I-5.

We are establishing this fund to help Rick's family pay for memorial expenses, care for Rick's two dogs, Button and Isabelle, and other expenses that may come up. 

Rick Nelson was a great friend to have—a guy who supported you when things were dark, a guy who helped you shoulder the load when things got overwhelming, a guy who helped you out of your funk with a positive thought or a witty one-liner.

We miss you Rick!
