So an update on Rickie’s condition. The last couple days Rickie’s blood pressure has been very low. He has suffered additional mini strokes and swelling in his brain and has full right side paralysis. Because of this they had to stop his heart meds and add some new ones to help raise his blood pressure. They’re trying to find a balance to safely treat both his heart and brain. To everyone that has tried to call Rickie he can’t speak right now due to the muscle paralysis in his face he’s not able to talk. Please keep him in your prayers. Hi, my name is Kayla Moss and I’m trying to raise funds to help support Rickie & our family in this time of need. Rickie is currently in the hospital fighting for his life with severe cardiac issues. Yesterday afternoon he was diagnosed with multiple conditions including, Congestive Heart Failure, pneumonia and this morning the doctors informed us he suffered a stroke early yesterday morning. His heart is currently only pumping less than 20% of the needed volume of blood as an opposed to the %60 percent necessary that a healthy heart would be pumping. The physician said his heart is comparable to a 80 year old at 44 years old. Furthermore, Rickie is also battling a virus that’s infected his heart and is causing additional complications. Rickie will need to be hospitalized for some time and will not be able to return to work upon his release. There is no cure for this condition and he will have to learn to live with a compromised heart.
