It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Rickie Dushawn Cole on July 20th, 2025. Rickie’s sudden departure has left our family devastated, and we are now faced with the difficult task of preparing a funeral and burial to honor his life and memory.

Rickie was deeply loved by all who knew him. He had a warm spirit, a kind heart, and an unforgettable presence that touched everyone around him. As a dedicated traveling nurse, Rickie committed his life to serving others — offering care, compassion, and healing to countless individuals and families across the country. Throughout his career, he worked in cities all across the United States, including Los Angeles, New York, and Houston, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of many.

Unfortunately, Rickie did not have life insurance, and the financial burden of funeral and burial costs has fallen entirely on our family. We are asking for support from friends, loved ones, and the community he so selflessly gave to, to help us give him the homegoing he truly deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us during this incredibly difficult time.
