Rickey's Urgent Need After Losing Home in Palisades Fire

My name is Maura Smith and Rickey DeWeese has been my best friend for over 30 years. He and his parents, Rick & Susie DeWeese, along with Rickey's two children, Alessandra & Rickey Jr., have lost their home of over 50 years in the Pacific Palisades fire. I am creating this fundraiser to help him rebuild his life. He has lost absolutely everything: childhood photos, clothes, shoes, his record collection, sports memorabilia. EVERYTHING is gone. The loss is unimaginable and so painful. Rickey and his sister Heather have spent their entire lives in the Pacific Palisades, and their entire town is gone.

Rickey is the best friend anyone could ask for. He even married my husband and I almost 6 years ago. He is kind, generous, and hilarious. He is a wonderful son, amazing friend, and a fantastic, loving father to his two precious children.

I'm asking all of our friends and family to please help Rickey and his family through this horrible nightmare. Absolutely any amount helps. I truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!!
