Hi…my family and I are asking for donations for my nephew Rick who was in a very severe car accident Sunday, June 20th. While driving home in his work van he lost control due to a mechanical issue. His van slid off the road hitting a concrete pillar and ending on its side at the bottom of a steep embankment. Thankfully no other cars or personal property was involved. Because Rick has Hemophilia (bleeding/clotting disorder), he had uncontrollable bleeding and lost almost 9 pints of blood by the time he got to the hospital . (We are very thankful we didn’t lose him). He sustained a major head injury (33 stitches) spleen and intestines trauma along with a fractured collarbone After a couple days of blood transfusions/clotting factors and 5 days in the hospital, he was released Friday and is staying with us until he is back up on his feet. Rick is self employed and runs his own window washing business. Due to COVID shutdowns, it hit his window washing business hard and he has really struggled to financially stay afloat.. Rick was just starting to get back to work and then this happened Sadly his work ladders and some equipment were taken from the accident scene and not returned… and his work van is totaled. Rick is recovering very well, but will be off work for a while and with all the upcoming hospital bills and the loss of his work equipment and vehicle, we are asking for financial help to help lighten the load.
