Ricketts Family Lost Everything in Fire.
Donation protected
Last night, March 11, 2022, my sister in law Cathy Ricketts and her family were burned out of their home. Miraculously no one was hurt. Thankfully her dog escaped and we were able to pull the cat out from under the house.
They have lost everything they've built in this home: from family photo albums, and keepsakes that can never be replaced, to basic necessities like clothes, toothbrushes, makeup, shoes, and food. This year has already been tough; her boyfriend is still recovering from a very long and serious illness from Covid-19. A lot of you may know Lanie, his niece. She is a courageous 7 year old girl that they foster. She too has lost everything.
You see stories like this on the news and always feel for those families and hope they're okay, but you never expect to have to experience it yourself. We are asking for help to rebuild a level of normalcy in what will undoubtedly be a very long emotional journey and recovery.
Thank you for anything and everything, especially your Thoughts, Prayers, and Love during this time.
