On January 7, 2023, after an unexpected illness, Rick passed away. He was known by his family as "Krazy Papa" given the nickname by his wonderful grandkids that loved him and whom he adored. A loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle who enjoyed watching his favorite football team the Miami Dolphins, cooking some delicious BBQ and anything Rocky! He enjoyed Promise Keepers and was very excited when he was able to help set up Homeless Connect for Merced County. He had a big personality and a heart to match.

The family is trying to raise funds to pay for the unexpected expenses for his funeral and I have set up this fund for them to assist.
