Help Rick Steinberger Fight Cancer

Rick is the father of 6 beautiful children, a devoted loving husband, the best son and brother you could ask for.  February 2019 Rick was diagnosed with Oral Cancer and started his treatment with Chemotherapy. In the fall he completed 6 weeks of intensive radiation to the base of tongue, throat area and has continued taking his chemo medication daily. January 2020 Rick was taken in to the emergency room with back and leg pain, they found 3 spots on his vertebrae and also spots on his femur. Rick has started the beginning of his 14 rounds of radiation to his back and leg with the goal of being able to sit and walk again without the pain.  All of the appointments and treatments are done at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer IA which is a 2 hour round trip from Armstrong.  They have 100% faith in the medical team of doctors and staff in the oncology department.  Stacy has resigned from her job at the school to stay home and care for Rick, making sure he gets all of his medications, to and from appointments and help with his day to day care.  All proceeds from this site will be transferred to a local Bank Midwest account in Armstrong set up for Rick and his family.
