This is probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.... ask for help.
The 21st of January will go down in my life as one of the most heartbreaking moments in my lifetime. The day I heard the Dr. say to Rick & I, "I've got bad news. You have cancer." Here I was looking at the love of my life, my rock of 20 plus years, the man I expected to grow old with, the father of my children... my world... and I couldn't speak. I couldn't cry. I was numb. Completely blindsided.   We received the "call" today about his scan results....it has spread to his liver,  tumor surgery is off the table.  This is stage 3-4,  chemo is our only option & possibly clinical trials.

If you know Rick personally, well you know what a hardworking, loyal, kind & caring man he is. If know us as a couple, you can't imagine me without him. If you know our family, our children & the love, the respect they have for him knows no limit. A very humble man, the friend you can call on @ any time & he's there.

We've exhausted all the avenues we have for assistance. Savings has now been depleted. Nothing but doors shutting. No, no, no. We have to hit total rock bottom before we can "apply" for any hardship. As humiliated as I am to have turn to this avenue, we really have no choice at this point.  Please help us in anyway you can.
