Rick Severson

As most of you know, our world as we knew it changed on September 30th. What we all thought was going to be a routine heart bypass surgery for our dad/husband ended up being far from it. After all, even though we hated to see the bypass happen, so many have had the surgery and it always seems to go with no complications. Unfortunately that was not to be the case for Rick. Hours after the successful heart bypass he suffered a massive stroke. While he has made some improvements, his recovery will take many weeks if not months and we really don't know at this time if he will ever be able to go back to his work in the business of building the beautiful homes he has his entire career. And his loving wife Steph has not left his side since his surgery. As both are self employed the hardship of not having an income is a very real stress that is so difficult at a time when they should only be thinking about Rick's therapys and getting him back home. Our family is so grateful for the outpouring of love and support we have all received during this difficult time for our family. It is so hard for us to ask for help, but his recovery is going to be many  more weeks if not months. Dad/ Rick would be one of the first to help anyone in need. Any help you could offer would be gratefully accepted. Thank you so much from our entire family.
