Rick Rowland medical journey

As most have probably heard Rick Rowland has been in ICU in Panama City Florida for over a week now.

He has an infection in his lungs that caused pneumonia which caused his breathing issues that put him in the hospital. He did have a mild heart attack due to the stress on his heart from coughing and lack of oxygen.

As of today (9/8/23) they were able to remove the ventilator and just use nasal oxygen. He is completely off sedation, but still not completely coherent. We don’t currently have any kind of time frame as to when he will be okay to be released or come back to TN. While he has been there in the hospital, Tammy, Corey, and Amber have stayed to rotate and keep everything going while the rest of the family has returned home to try to help keep things going as best we can day to day.

As so many people know when tragedies like this happen bills and normal expenses don’t stop, and with them being so far from home have unfortunately multiplied.

We know there is still a very big journey ahead, but are so very touched by the outpouring of thoughts, prayers, and help! We are so greatful for anything and everything that is gifted during this time . We want Tammy to be able to focus on Rick and not stress finances as much as possible.
