Our dear Rick (husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many) has unexpectedly made the journey home to be with his divine creator.
There are no words that can adequately describe the tremendous pain and heartbreak felt by so many at the loss of such a powerful light among us; the world has been left a little dimmer in his absence. Most especially for his family, who are deeply grieving the loss of their most precious husband, father, and grandfather.
Rick passed away unpredictably in the night from causes yet to be determined and his family and friends are in great need of support and prayers at this time.
Rick lived his life in service. Service to GOD through his church and actions, service to country as a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and contractor support to AFRL, and service to those around him through his various endeavors. As the kind and decent human being he was, he touched and impacted the lives of nearly everyone he encountered. We are grateful and blessed for the time that we had to enjoy Rick's presence, kindness, smile, and great barbecue cooking.
People that cared for Rick have asked how they can help ease the pain and stress being endured at this time by his family. While still in shock from this tremendous loss we realize his wife Michelle is in need of not only prayers and emotional support, but also financial support to cover expenses and allow for her to transition to future life changes.
