Rick "Spider" Kramer

For those of you that don’t know my Uncle, Rick “Spider” Kramer, owner of Spiders Tattooz in Sycamore, has been diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Cancer.  This cancer is attached at the skull behind the nose.  It is currently causing numbness of the mouth which is causing difficulty swallowing and loss of taste.  It is very difficult for him to eat, so much that he has lost over 30 lbs in the past month.    

I am starting this GoFundMe because they need help.  Being a self-employed tattoo artist that owns his own shop, not being able to work is a serious problem.  Currently the shop is at risk of closing and bills are piling up.  Treatment is going to begin in a little over a week.  This means driving into Chicago for specialized radiation type treatment 5 days a week for 7 weeks.  No work equals no money, no money equals tough to maintain treatment, home, and business.     

Spider has always been about helping people.  Not sure if everyone knows, but he is a Mason, a Shriner, volunteer firefighter (retired), Governor of the Moose Lodge, and an alderman for Sycamore.  He is always offering help to others, but when it comes for him needing help, he doesn’t ask.  So, I am asking for help for him.  Please help by donating any amount that you can.  Let’s allow him to focus on getting healthy and not have to worry about how he is going to pay his next co-pay… and oh yea... F@*K CANCER!
