Rick Murdock's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
We lost the best daddy, husband, brother, and friend early Thursday morning after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Rick loved his family and friends so much and always put others first. He lived life to the fullest, always grateful for the relationships and loved ones he had and always saw the good in everyone.
Despite his diagnosis of advanced bladder cancer late last year, Rick always stayed positive and fought hard for the time he had. He always made sure to cherish every moment. He loved coaching junior softball and basketball in Rockland, alongside Sami and Kiley, leaving behind a legacy to kids all around town. He loved going on family adventures with Lori and the kids and watching the Pats games in his jersey. Whether it was at the office, on the field, or simply a quick FaceTime, he was always there to guide others and offer a helping hand. A mentor to many, he was truly selfless in giving his time to those he cared about. He always made sure to have a smile on his face, and always had a funny comment and joke ready to blurt out on a whim.
Rick was also a provider - he made sure to work hard to take care of his family and help limit the strain of life's financial burdens the best he could. With his passing, we are unfortunately faced with the large expense of laying him to rest. If anyone wants to help, a donation in Rick's honor to help offset some of these costs would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all of our family and friends for your support during this difficult time. Your kind thoughts and words mean so much to us. For those who would like to help honor Rick in person, please see the below arrangements for his celebration of life:
