Rick Mayfield Heart Transplant

After 25  years of enduring congestive heart disease my dad, Rick Mayfield, is currently residing at UCLA Medical Center awaiting a heart transplant!  Our family is extremely thankful and excited for this opportunity!  Once UCLA doctors approached my dad with the possibility of a heart transplant, the process was surprisingly quick and there has been little time to plan financially.  As you can imagine, medical bills and medication, not covered by insurance is extremely costly.  In addition to medical bills UCLA requires that once my dad receives his transplant, he and my mom will have to live in LA for three months,  following the hospital stay.  For this reason, we have decided to use this platform in asking friends and family to help raise money for my dad and mom, to ensure that they have the financial means needed for this process.  Our family is thankful and grateful to any donations given for this cause.
