Rick Kolander

Rick was diagnosed with colon cancer this summer and he is fighting everyday to beat it. Currently, he is undergoing chemo and the tumors are shrinking. When his chemo treatments are complete he will need surgery to remove what is left. He works when he is able and continues to smile, joke and have a positive attitude. Rick has been adamant that he did not wanted a public announcement of his diagnosis and truly doesn't want people to look at him differently. He is a strong man and has beat the odds many times before. Rick needs all the prayers and support he can get. The next few months will make it difficult for him to work and yet bills and medical expenses will continue to come due. He will probably be furious when he finds out that this has been set up for monetary support; but, the goal is to relieve his worries for not being able to work and allow him focus on healing.  I am hoping that this will give his friends a way to help in his fight and allow him keep that positive attitude as he continues to fight the most fierce battle of his life.
