Community members, my wife and I are making this page on behalf of friends of ours, Rick and Holly, who are currently struggling to manage their household. Their sweet daughter, Iylee, has been battling chronic ongoing health issues, needing frequent medical appointments between CHaD and Boston Children’s. These appointments take them away from their jobs, causing huge financial losses, on top of increasing medical expenses. Rick is currently looking for new employment that’ll be more flexible with all these doctor’s visits. Over the winter, in the midst of dealing with their daughter, their eldest son’s girlfriend delivered a healthy baby that Holly was on her way to visit along with his brothers. While Holly and her boys were exiting the off ramp, a drunk driver was speeding in the wrong direction up the ramp, crashing into them and totaling her vehicle. Due to the accident, Holly, missed shifts at work and will be out of work after her upcoming surgery.

With both Rick and Holly missing work due to these unforeseen circumstances and events, they continue to be sucked under the riptide, struggling to get above water.
