Hi, my name is Rebecca Banga, some of us friends have decided to start a go fund me page to help Rick and Erin Heise with some of the additional costs associated with Rick’s treatments.

The Heise family has been in a nightmare since 2024. On Dec 28th a CT scan showed Rick Heise has a very large mass growing on the left side of his brain. They did surgery in Sasktoon on December 30th, and all went well, by January 1st, he was awake. They were able to come home mid January, where Rick was healing and improving daily, everything was looking up, and scans came back clean. Beginning of May Rick started to have very noticeable pain on the left side of his face, and an MRI showed that the tumour was back and growing aggressively, this was completely unexpected. Rick has a very rare brain tumour, and he has been undergoing radiation since the second week of June at the Pasqua Hospital / Allan Blair Cancer Clinic in Regina. Erin has been by her husbands side every step of this medical journey. Some days are better, some days are harder. We have faith that the specialists are doing everything possible to treat Rick, and that the treatments will let him come home soon. With multiple trips to the hospital, specialists and various medical appointments and the prolonged stay in the hospital, there has been many unexpected additional expenses, any donations would help with relieving some of this stress for the Heise family. They are very grateful for all the prayers and help they have received over this past while, and want to make sure everyone knows how appreciative they have been for that support.
