Dear Friends and Family,

As most of you know, Rick unexpectedly passed away on August 28, 2023. To say that we are devastated is an understatement. The hole left in our family is immeasurable.

Unfortunately, due to the sudden nature of this loss, we are not prepared to pay for funeral services.

Rick was truly the best husband, father, and brother a family could ask for, and we are lost without him. He handled so much of the day-to-day and constantly fulfilled our needs above his own. On top of being a big-time family man, Rick was also a well-known and beloved member of the Anza community. That said, we are raising money to cover the cost of a celebration of life to give him the send-off he deserves. Rather than a traditional service, the goal is to host an open mic where everyone can attend and share food, memories, and music.

On top of the memorial, funds raised will also go toward helping his wife, Kelly, pay to finish the home repairs they had been in the middle of. It’s, unfortunately, something we’ll now need to outsource, as Rick had many incredible skills we do not have.

We are overwhelmed by the support shown so far and can’t thank you enough for helping our family during this time.
