This past month, my dad was diagnosed with colon cancer and had surgery scheduled to have a foot of his bowel removed. When the phone rang to cancel his surgery, we were told the devastating news that he also has lung cancer. Dad is trying to stay positive, and we are waiting for more diagnostic results. I am reaching out everywhere to help my parents with the financial burden now upon them.
