Funeral Expenses for Rick Bolton

On July 26th my cousin Ricky passed away suddenly, he was only 30 years old. He should still be here, he shouldn’t have died. He had his whole life ahead of him. Our family is still trying to process and figure out exactly what happened, after a complication from an infection that could have been prevented.

Ricky cared deeply about his family, and his siblings. Every holiday, birthday, special occasion, you could count on Ricky to be present. He was happiest when he spent time with his siblings. For me, he was the closest person I had to a sibling.

Ricky admired his father, he was very close to him, they had the greatest bond. I have started this fundraiser to raise funds to help his father pay for the funeral. A parent should not have to bury their child. I want his father to be able to grieve and be there for his other children (he also cares for Ricky’s older sister who is disabled, and has 3 other children) without having to deal with the financial stress of burying his eldest son.

Any donations towards funeral costs would be much appreciated, as none of us were prepared for this to happen. ALL funds will go towards Ricky’s funeral and burial costs.
