Rick Ausland recovery and healing support

Tap dancer and theatre producer extraordinaire, Rick Ausland was in a serious bike accident on Wednesday night. He was taken to HCMC with a fractured skull with bleeding on the brain, broken ribs and a broken shoulder. He was having seizures and was put on a ventilator.  Today, Friday, he is able to breathe on his own and is responsive to his care team and family. Miraculously, he was able to sit and stand, and will soon be moving out of the ICU to another room for continued care.

Funny, talented, and creative, Rick is one of the most positive, upbeat, and supportive people in our lives. He's an awesome teacher and creative co-conspirator who sees the magic in every moment. Rick's road to recovery is unknown at this time and we've created this fundraiser to help with his medical expenses, loss of wages, and other costs associated with his healing. If you've ever met Rick, you know how much he would appreciate some positive thoughts, good vibes, prayers for healing, and a shim sham (or two) of support.
