Hi I’m Kiyoshi Ankoviak, the daughter of Rick Ankoviak. And his sons Raiden Ankoviak, Ethan Steube, Anthony & Bryce Ankoviak.

Our dad recently had gotten sick with small cancer cells in his lungs, he was undergoing aggressive treatments with chemo/radiation about a week ago. He was fine but then a week later he was miserable… it happened so quickly it took us all by surprise. We hadn’t heard from him since Saturday morning, August 9th. We went over at 5:30 pm Sunday the 10th to check on him and he had passed away…

He had such an amazing heart, amazing taste in music and always danced like no one was watching! He would give you the clothes off his back if you asked, or if you needed to talk until you couldn’t breathe anymore… he’d listen. He loved everyone, always had a story to tell and had a smile on his face. We are genuinely so shocked, angry, and heartbroken over this devastating loss of our dad. This was so sudden and we had no time to prepare and neither did he. Funeral homes always freaked him out and made him uncomfortable, so he wanted to be cremated and have a celebration of life with his dearest friends, family. With all the cremation costs and other expenses adding up it’s biting off more than we can chew. We’re starting this fund to help my family and I to achieve my dad’s wishes and handle any other hoops we may have to jump through during this process.
