Kramer/Schaeffer Support Fund

Donation protected
On September 19th, Rich Kramer was diagnosed with AML, acute myeloid leukemia.  AML is an agressive form of cancer that requires in hospital chemo treatments.   Rich is currently in Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston receiving his first round of Chemo.  Through the remainder of the year Rich will be spending weeks at a time at the hospital for treatment with short breaks at home.   For updates from Rich and Stacy, please bookmark https://lls.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/733757/

We all know that Rich has what it takes to beat this and want to be there to support Rich and Stacy as well as their boys, Ryan, Connor, Aidan, Brendan, and Keegan, yep that's 5 boys from 3 to 13.  Check out Rich's twitter posts with #5boys!  Rich's parents, Marcia and Rick are also here from New York to help Rich with his battle.   Rich's sister Kendra has taken time from her wedding planning to be with Rich as well.  Family is everything!

Many of you have asked how we can support the Schaeffer-Kramer family during this time and we cannot begin to tell you how much Stacy, Rich and their extended family appreciate all the support, prayers and love sent their way.  It is truly making a difference in their lives.

To help coordinate support we have setup two sites for local friends who want to help, as well as this gofundme site for those that would rather contribute funds or are located out of the area.  gofundme requires us to put in a goal amount but please don't worry about reaching the amount or going over.  At this point it is a random amount chosen for convenience.

If you are wondering how your donation might assist the family, we are planning the following at this point:  Yard work, it's fall clean up in New England after all, Child care, #5boys, Gas, Tolls, parking, travel expenses, medical costs and planning some fun time for the kids so they remember that it's still okay to have fun and Rich can see videos of the boys at play.

Below are the two links for volunteer sites, if that interests you.  Please remember this is a journey for Rich and family and we want to be in it with them for the long haul.
