Rich's Transplant

Many know and many do not know, but Rich, a 21+ years US Air Force Veteran, was diagnosed with liver failure at the beginning of June and it has been an uphill battle ever since, to say the least. He is now only one step away from being put on the transplant list at Shands Hospital. He had to resign from his job and we both have had to spend weeks away from our loved ones, especially our two wonderful children.

With that said, there are many uncertainties and expenses we expect to face in the near future. I will have to take unpaid time off to help care for him after surgery. We have years of recovery ahead of us, including the need for lifelong medications, doctor appointments, possible medical supplies, and/or the need for a home health aid.
