In 2014 Rich and Terri Lumley took the plunge into retirement. After living their entire life in Big Lake and raising their 4 boys, they moved to a quiet lake home near Brainerd, MN. Unfortunately, a few months into retirement, Rich was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer in his tongue. Several rounds of chemo and radiation followed. Rich was declared "cancer free" and they celebrated God's healing power! However, the Lymphoma cancer returned this past summer and they are now in the middle of an intense treatment to undergo a stem cell transplant. Rich is receiving treatment at the UofM and he and Terri are living at the Hope Lodge for the next few months.
