It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear brother Richmond Nkansah Boateng, also known as Papa Richie, He was a kind, loving, and generous soul who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His sudden departure has left a huge hole in our hearts and in our community.

He was an old student of St. Peters Secondary School (PERSCO 95 Year group) at Kwahu Nkwatia.He arrived in Canada around February 2024 through Montreal where he stayed for sometime and later moved to Bradford, Ontario after some few months. He was an uber driver at Bradford as people know him to be.

He fell severely sick about two weeks ago and was admitted at the South Lake Hospital in New Market. The doctor made us believe it’s an emergency situation which is a raptured appendix and had affected his kidney so he ordered for immediate surgery to save the situation. The surgery was successfully done but he wasn’t responding to treatment and hence put on life support. On Wednesday 24th September 2025 at 9pm he passed away.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of his funeral and burial, so that we can give him the dignified farewell he deserves. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go a long way in easing the financial burden on his family during this very difficult time.
