Praying for Richie

Richie Yoder, age 23, has battled with substance abuse for the past 4-5 years. He made the decision, on his own terms, to get admitted to a program called Teen Challenge. There was an opening in North Carolina and as of today, November 7, he has started his journey of getting free from an addiction that he no longer wants apart of his life. We (his family) are so proud of him for making this decision and we look forward to seeing the difference Jesus makes in his life this coming year.
He will be in the long term program which is 12-14 months long. He has very limited phone calls and visitations, so you most likely won’t be hearing from him until he has finished his term. They do recommend that people send cards and letters. He will need an army of people praying and supporting him as he is fights through this tough war. And for him to know that people are here for him will mean so much to him and give him the boost he needs to keep going strong.
