On Thursday 18th January, we received a phone call that shattered our family to its core. Richie was involved in an accident on his electric scooter. He came off with such force and suffered a traumatic brain injury, which caused irreversible damage. He was placed on life support with further tests ordered, which sadly confirmed that he was brain dead.

On Friday 19th January, Rich gave the ultimate gift and donated his organs to help save others in need. Everyone that knows Rich, knows that he would give the shirt off his back for his friends and family, so this final act of generosity was no surprise to his family.

With his sudden passing, Rich did not have a funeral fund or life insurance. We're asking if everyone could please donate, even just a small donation to help bring our Son, Father, Nephew, Cousin, Partner & Friend home from Townsville and to ensure he has a fitting send off that he deserves..
