They can use your help

Many have been asking what you can do to help out Richie, Char, and family, so I’m putting this out there for them.

As many of you know, Richie injured his foot at the end of March, and things quickly took a tough turn medically. On March 31, Richie sought treatment for an infection on his right foot and was set up for the wound center that Thursday. Unfortunately, the infection advanced, and Char rushed him to UPMC where he was admitted and the following evening underwent a partial amputation on his foot. Due to diabetes, these things are not easy to heal. He has had subsequent visits after being discharged after 8 days and just as recent as yesterday was back through the Emergency department for further treatment. Richie has been unable to return to work through all this, and it’s unclear how long this process will take to get his foot healed enough for prosthesis and full balance mobility. This is expected to be a bit of a process to get him back to renewed health. While this is going on, Char is also facing some health issues and doctoring with a specialist. She goes Wednesday to see about a biopsy, so all prayers going her way as well.

I am just putting this out there for anyone wanting to help in this very emotional and uncertain time alleviate a little financial stress for them as they try to get through this. Thank you all.
