Rich 'Richie' Heim Funeral Fund

Richard Heim was born November 18, 1970 to Bud and Peggy. He joined big sister Sharon/Sherry and his brother Andrew/Buddy. A child of San Bruno and a lifelong resident of the Bay Area, he passed away on August 9, 2015.

Rich or "Richie" was a kind and gentle soul who loved his family, friends, and sports. He was a baseball enthusiast, playing Varsity at Capuchino High School and coaching little league.

Richard was a beloved son, brother, friend and co-worker. He worked in the freight industry for over 20 years.

His family is shocked by his death and needing to make many transitions at this time, including the planning of a funeral service for 8/23/15. Details will be posted in this page. At this time we are requesting support on their behalf to ease their stresses.

A portion of what is donated via this page will be contributed to the YMCA's "Send a Kid to Camp" program, as they send disadvantaged youth from the Bay Area to sports camps over the summer. Richard loved children and his nephew Justin, who was a camp counselor.
