As many of you have heard, Richey Piiparinen will be undergoing brain surgery to remove a lime sized tumor.  Richey has been a part of my life since we were in cribs.   We have remained close friends through the years with the common bonds of our hockey youth and close family ties.  Our hockey careers brought us again together at Saint Edwards through 1990-1994 where it culminated with our state championship in 1994.  Richey is my dear friend and is entering a challenging obstacle in life.    While the surgery will be relatively short the recovery and road ahead will be long and trying.   We are asking for you to keep  his family Deb,  Lori, Andiara, Angel, Iara, Artur, in your prayers and assist with any donations.
