Hello,
My name is Amy Adams. I come to you with a request near and dear to my heart. My sister Jill and her husband Michael are expecting conjoined twin girls. We are still waiting to find out when they will make there appearance in this world. Jill will have to relocate soon to Houston in preparation of their arrival. The twins will remain there until more tests are done to determine 100% that they will be able to be separated. What we know right now: They are joined at the chest, and are fused at the liver and diaphragm with a small connection at their hearts which the surgeons believe are separable at this point. It will take further testing after their birth to determine if other connections exist and if those connections can be severed as well. If it is determined that they can be separated then Jill and Michael will have to stay longer in Houston until the girls get big and strong enough for the surgery. This process could take up to a year more or less.
They need help with mounting medical cost, living and travel expenses. Their next visit to Houston is coming up soon in November. We hope to have some funds by then to help with that visit. Any contribution is much needed and will be greatly appreciated.
