It's going to be a long expensive road to recovery. Billy was going west on the highway. A lady was going east and turned 50 yards in front of him. He was
able to swerve a little and that's what saved his life. He has had 4 surgeries in 2 weeks. Many broken bones and some muscles severed which will give him problems for the rest of his life. He will be in a physical rehab facility for a long time and then outpatient therapy. He will not be able to go back to work until he is well enough to be off any controlled pain medications.
We have no income right now because he was just getting to go back to work in August and I (Lori) have a hard time working because of lasting side effects from chemo. We have 4 teenage children that we need to take care of, as well as all the other expenses we will incur.
