Help Nancy and Ken Rebuild After Devastating Fire
On the evening of December 6th, 2024, two longtime residents of the Seymour, Missouri community lost everything in a devastating fire.
Nancy and Ken Richardson of Seymour lost their home of 30+ years and everything they own when an ember from a bonfire was able to reach their barn and quickly engulfed it in flames.
The fire immediately spread to their home next door and within seconds, their entire home was a raging inferno.
Firefighters from multiple departments worked to extinguish the blaze.
Thankfully, Nancy and Ken were able to escape with their lives (although one of their dogs ran off and has yet to return home). Unfortunately, however, the fire claimed everything else: a lifetime of memories, family photos, and all belongings - leaving this loving family now homeless.
Nancy and Ken are more than just survivors. They are devoted parents, grandparents, and friends. To me, they are simply 'Mom and Dad'. They are the rock of our family - selfless and loving people who always put others first. Asking for help is not in their nature, which is why we're taking this step for them.
The funds raised will help the Richardsons begin to rebuild their lives - securing new housing, replacing essentials, and easing the financial strain of this unimaginable loss. We hope that this support will provide them with some comfort and peace as they move forward.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for any contribution that you can make - whether it's donating, sharing this page, or keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness means the world to our family.
