Richard's Recovery from Rotator Cuff Surgery
On Nov 25, 2020, I was hiking in the Forest Hills Park in Cleveland Hts, when I slipped in mud and injured my shoulder.
The video describes everything that happened, but this is to outline exactly what my needs are. The surgery will keep my arm immobilized for 3-4 weeks, with a further 6-8 weeks before I’m able to really engage with my arm again.
The pandemic left me with basically zero savings, and absolutely no income. Now, with the PUA enhanced payments ending, and ultimatelythe entire unemployment ending in September, I am poised for disaster.
My plan is to apply for temporary SSI, but that is both an unknown and unpredictable scenario. As the video explains, I will have a new CD coming out, but sales for that is also an unknown. So I am coming to my friends once again for help to get me through this tipsy turvy time.
I need be able to pay rent, car payment, utilities, and a few minor monthly bills that, frankly, could be put off if necessary. All said, these monthly expenses come to roughly $1000, and that’s before anything like food, gas, or small niceties of life.
As I state in the video, this campaign is ongoing, so any donations don’t need to be made all at once. You could donate over the course of the entire campaign if you wish.
