Richard’s Cancer Journey: Your Kindness Can Help

Hi there, I’m Simon May and this is my incredible husband and loving doggie dad, Richard. We recently rebooted our lives by moving cross country with our little pack to explore a new home in Las Vegas and all that the west cost of the USA has to offer!

Shortly after the move, Richard had a biopsy done on an odd patch of skin on his arm that was discovered to be cancer. After further blood tests, a bone marrow biopsy, and a PET scan his treatment is yet to be determined, but the cost of this discovery process and the cancer mediation is starting to mount and it’s looking like something that would be difficult for us to handle alone so soon after the move.

It is humbling to ask for help, but with the health insurance company’s policies and an uncertain financial burden ahead, we hope that our community can help us prepare for what may be a long haul treatment and recovery process.
