It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Richard Gore on January 24, 2018.

On the morning of January 23rd, Rick woke up feeling like he was coming down with a virus.  At 11:00 that evening, he was in excruciating pain and asked Deb to call 911.  At first, they thought he was having a stroke. After tests, the doctors discovered that he had sepsis with a strep infection spreading through his blood.  He became unresponsive soon after he arrived at the hospital as the infection quickly spread throughout his body and began shutting down his vital organs. He never regained consciousness and passed away at 7:00 pm.

Deb was by his side and told him how much she loved him.  The hospital chaplain was with Deb and Rick, saying a prayer as was disconnected from life support. Rick passed peacefully and Deb truly believes he could hear the chaplain’s prayer.

Rick was a wonderful husband to Deb and a loving father to his daughters Jan, Margot and Marissa.  He will be sorely missed.   

This Go-Fund-Me account is being set up to help Rick’s family pay for funeral services and hospital expenses.  His death was sudden and unexpected.  It has put a financial strain on his family so I am asking his friends and family to help out as you can.  Anything you feel led to donate is greatly appreciated.  Also, please continue to pray for Deb and the girls as they deal with this great loss.
