Richard Fair was a devoted father of three beautiful daughters. He had a larger than life personality, and never met an enemy in his life. He was a true example of being a father and true friend to anyone that met him.
Friends Remember Richard

Richard was unfortunately taken from this life on Jan. 15, 2017 in a massive apartment fire in Toledo, OH.  That day he was scheduled to start his own radio show in Chicago on WVON  after being a regular guest on the Denny Schaffer show, The Cliff Kelly Show (WVON), and appearing on other shows such as Sean Hannity.

Richard was loveable giant that loved his family. He made sure that no matter what was happening he was there for them. Richard felt that there was no better thing in the world than to be with his family. He shared his world with his daughters and nephews as they were his world. He never allowed a moment to go by where if they needed him, or he was needed he was there for them..

Richard was active in politics and the community. He believed in sharing and building bridges. Never a one to go with the crowd, he never let prejudices, attitudes, or "social norms" stop him from connecting with people from all walks of life, faith, political affiliation, race, or socio-economic status. Richard loved people and from the outpouring since his passing we find that people loved Richard.

We are looking to raise money for his daughters. They are ages 4 (Rylie), 18 (Raven), and 21 (Roxanna). Raven suffers from Pulmonary Hypertension  since the age of 3 and has a Broviac Catheter  to help her have a normal life.  Richard sacrificed his career to make sure she had the best care as well as an advocate for others who share the same disease.  He became a parent advocate at the UM Children's Hospital and St Vincent Mercy Toledo.

They lost everything they owned in this world along with their father. We want to provide just a little relief for them in their time of need and help them get some of things that they lost materially back.

Richard will be missed, yet his love for people and wanting to make the world a better place will live on through the lives that he has touched.  We ask that if you do not decided to contribute to this campaign feel free to visit a WoodForest Bank to Donate to Richard Fair Memorial C/O of Roxanne Mott (his sister) or take donations to his favorite charity of The Cherry Street Mission  105 17th St, Toledo, OH 43604.
